About Milena
I worked as an ICU nurse across the border in Detroit lived in Windsor, ON, and invested in real estate here using the money I made from my job. I was born and raised in Windsor and went to school here from kindergarten to university. I came from a family of immigrants and I'm the first in my family to own real estate in North America. My first investment property was a 6-unit building in Windsor that I house-hacked while working my first year as a nurse. I bought another property the following year (duplex conversion) and made enough cash flow to be able to sustain my living expenses. I quit nursing after working throughout the entire pandemic and decided to pursue my career as a realtor and real estate investor beginning of 2022. I grew quickly on social media and made 300k my first year as a realtor, started my own team (the WindSocial realty team) with 3 realtors under me (and growing), ran the largest real estate investor networking event in Windsor (Windsor REI Social), and am now looking for larger multifamily projects.
